Verbos comunes: enjoy, avoid, suggest, mind, finish, consider, recommend, admit, deny, practice, keep, imagine.
Ejemplos:
I enjoy learning English every day.
She avoids speaking in public.
He suggested going to the cinema.
I don’t mind helping you with homework.
Have you finished writing the email?
2. Verbos seguidos de Infinitivo (to + verbo)
Verbos comunes: want, need, decide, hope, plan, promise, refuse, learn, agree, offer, seem, appear.
Ejemplos:
I want to improve my pronunciation.
She decided to take an English course.
They hope to travel to Canada next year.
I promised to call my mother.
He offered to help me with the project.
3. Verbos que pueden usar ambos (pero cambian de significado)
Estos son muy importantes:
Remember
I remember meeting him last year. (Recuerdo haberlo conocido)
I remembered to buy milk. (Recordé comprar leche)
Stop
I stopped smoking last month. (Dejé de fumar)
I stopped to smoke a cigarette. (Me detuve para fumar)
Try
Try studying with music. (Prueba a estudiar con música)
Try to study every morning. (Intenta estudiar todas las mañanas)
Regret
I regret saying that. (Lamento haber dicho eso)
I regret to inform you… (Lamento informarle…)
Consejo final
La mejor forma de aprender es practicar.
Elige 2–3 verbos nuevos cada semana y crea tus propias oraciones.
